Silk Painting Demo at Artists & Fleas

Time flies when you are being creative! I had a fun afternoon on Saturday, April 13, 2019, participating in Artists & Fleas Spring Fest at Chelsea Market. My silk painting demo piqued a lot of interest from shoppers, tourists and other visitors.  Chelsea Market was a full house and furthermore it was a lovely spring day with temperatures hovering at 72 degrees!

The pattern I chose to demonstrate was inspired by a modern day animal print.  It was an intricate pattern - I’m not quite finished yet, but take a peek at the work-in-progress!
