Custom Fabrics: DivineNY is open on Spoonflower!

I’m excited to announce that I’ve opened shop on Spoonflower!  I’ve launched my shop with my first repeat pattern, part of a collection that I call Spanish Charm.

Spanish Charm is inspired by the beautiful architecture and colors of Spain.  I vacationed in Spain in October 2019, visiting Barcelona, Sevilla, Cordoba, Granada and Madrid.  Such a beautiful country with vivid colors and architecture that reflects a mix of Christian European and Muslim cultures.  I have so many photos and video clips which can be seen on my IGTV channel.

My design process starts with creating a mood board incorporating the photos that I took in Spain.  Then, developing a color palette from these photos. Followed by creating a few sketches of motifs. After which I scan and bring in Adobe Illustrator to create this repeating pattern. 

Currently, Spanish Charm is one pattern in 3 colorways.  I plan to build out Spanish Charm into a full collection of 6 coordinating patterns.  The ideas are in the works and hope to launch it soon!
