New Skillshare Class: Analyze Sales Data with Excel Pivot Tables

by Rekha on March 17, 2018

After a long break, I’m back to being active on Skillshare and excited to build my channel with fun and informative online classes.

Last year, I did start working on many class concept ideas but did not get a chance to fully implement them. I realized why I was stuck: I did not have a clear vision for my channel and how I wanted to grow it.

In February, when Skillshare identified me as a “Teacher to Watch” and invited me to participate in their latest Teachers To Watch Exclusive Channel Challenge, I was motivated and inspired to get cracking on launching a new class by the challenge deadline, March 12th, 2018.

My 2018 Channel Vision

Here’s what you can expect from my Skillshare channel this year.

My mission and vision is to inspire you to learn new business skills and creative skills that you can apply to your work, business or just for fun.

I plan to to achieve this by offering 3 “tracks” of classes as follows:

Career Success: Learn to be a Star at Work! These classes will focus on productivity tools, project management, change management, etc.

Tools You Can Use for Creative Business: Business Skills for the Creative Entrepreneur.

Creative Workshop: Design & Crafting Skills to enhance your creative mindset.

Skillshare Channel Plan |

My latest class that just went live last week falls under the track “Tools You Can Use for Creative Business”.

In this class, Learn to Analyze your Sales Data with Excel Pivot Tables, you’ll learn how to better understand your sales data so that you can answer questions such as:

– What products sold the most in a give year?
– Which country/state did I ship the most product to?
– How much inventory should I plan to make for the upcoming holiday season?

Skillshare class: Analyze Sales Data with Excel Pivot Tables |

Though this class is targeted towards creative business owners who sell on Etsy, Amazon or other online marketplaces, it is open to anyone who wants to better understand data in general.

As a small business owner, it is important to develop a practice and strategic approach to understanding your sales data.
This is a beginner level class on Pivot Tables however it does assume that you have basic knowledge of Excel.

Look forward to seeing you in class! You can join the class HERE

Skillshare is a great way to learn a new create or business skill! And when you sign up for these online classes you’ll get 2 months of Premium membership for free.

I’ve started working on concept ideas for my next class, which will fall in the Creative Workshop track! Stay tuned…hope to launch this one by April or May!

Be sure to follow me on Skillshare to be notified when my new online classes launch!
