Divine dZigns is dedicated to bettering the lives of women, children and communities locally and globally by donating 10% of sales to various non-profit organizations that support global entrepreneurship and provide individuals and groups the opportunity to develop skill sets and attain financial independence which in turn will improve living standards and create a more sustainable future.
Currently we have teamed up with L.I.B. International, a non-profit group based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. L.I.B. International was born out of a vision and passion to reach out to the impoverished villages of the world and improve the living conditions of the disadvantaged. With their assistance, we hope to connect with NGO (non-profit) organizations in India who work with local artisans to either source raw materials and/or produce our products. In turn we will be able to help these artisan communities to prosper financially, share our knowledge and experience about product quality, construction, color, design and pricing – all skills that help them perfect their art and compete in the global marketplace more effectively. The initial discussions have begun and we envision this to come to full fruition in 2012.
