We are dedicated to improving the lives of women, children and communities locally and globally by donating 10% of our sales to various non-profit organizations. Our goal is to support organizations that provide the disadvantaged opportunities to develop skill sets, attain financial independence, and ultimately improve their living standards while creating a sustainable future for themselves.
Additionally, some of the fabrics we use in our designs are sourced from women artisan cooperatives from around the globe. Though we may source our fabrics globally, all our production is done locally in New York City. We have partnered with Wishwas, a NYC based non-profit organization whose mission is to empower low-income immigrant women achieve economic independence to help us with the production of our home accessories line. A purchase of a Divine NY & Co. home décor product provides these women artisans locally and globally an opportunity to earn a fair wage that will help change their lives, support their families and expand their businesses. Some of the organizations we support include: Wishwas, Nest, L.I.B International, The Seeing Eye, Lighthouse International, L.I.B International and American Cancer Society. |
