This month my color crush is lime green. I love this color! It may seem a tad bright but quite honestly, it’s the perfect accent color and can pair with a variety of hues from neutrals to cool or warm colors. Lime green is a healing color that reduces stress and brings forth balance.

When paired with neutrals, lime green becomes the focal point. Whereas, with warm red or cool blue, lime green adds a nice accent color.

Here are a few tips to keep in mind when decorating with lime green:

• Balance is key. When decorating with this color, using black, white and other neutrals will offset its bold statement.

• Use bold color with elegance, never garish! Color should be strong but subtle.

• Don’t be afraid to experiment. If you are not ready to do a complete color and design overhaul, start by updating fabrics and accent pieces.

In conclusion…don’t shy away from bright bold color, embrace it! Use it with the right balance and combination and watch your room stand out…in a good way!
